Polk County GOP meeting

On Saturday at 10 a.m., the Polk County GOP will host their annual county convention and precinct meeting.
The keynote speaker will be Tim Moore, Speaker of the North Carolina House of Representatives. A number of candidates who are running in the 2018 primary election will be there to introduce themselves to voters. The business portion of the convention will include the election of county officers and precinct chair, as well as a report on progress since the recent reorganization. Light refreshments will be served.
The headquarters are located at 33 Peak St. in Columbus.
