Lynn Hensley and Beverly Conner from Dr. Rees’ office (the Infusion Center at St. Luke’s Hospital) offered a detailed explanation of the work of the new infusion center.
They are primarily a cancer care facility, offering chemotherapy and IV therapy treatments. However, anyone needing blood transfusions, arthritis infusions or IV medication of any kind can also receive that care in the center.
The center is located directly across from the helicopter landing pad in Building 4 of the hospital’s medical campus.
Columbus Lions meet first and third Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. at Calvert’s Kitchen in Columbus.
