Rothy Lee Harris, 79, of Inman, passed away March 16, 2018, at the Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills.

He was the son of the late Thelmer and Virginia Higgins Harris.

He was of the Baptist faith, and was a self-employed mechanic.

He is survived by two sons, Emanuel Harris and Jeff Harris; three daughters, Karen Torres, Janice Brown and Lee Kranek; two brothers, James Harris and Troy Harris; two sisters, Hazel Gwinn and Joann Quinn; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 18, 2018, at Smith Phayer Hospice House in Landrum.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, Smith-Phayer Hospice House, 374 Hudlow Road, Forest City, NC 28043.

Following the service, the family will be at the home of Janice Brown, 2484 Smith Waldrop Road, Mill Spring, North Carolina.
