Does your bucket list have some wildlife on it that you have yet to see in person? The next best thing to seeing the real animal is seeing the signs it has left behind. These signs can be tracks, markings, slides, trails, and scat. Join us to learn how to recognize and identify wildlife scat and the fascinating things it and other animal signs can tell us about the wildlife living around us.

After many years of teaching high school biology and environmental science, Ann has spent the last decade working as an educator for the NC Wildlife Resources Commission and is the director of the Commission’s Education Hub located in Raleigh, NC.

Contact the Southeast (Polk County) office of Conserving Carolina to register for the workshop or for more information, 828-859-5060, or Pam Torlina at pam@conservingcarolina.org.
