Polk County District Court Results

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018, with Judge Emily Cowan presiding, 161 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Leah McKee Barnes was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Barnes was fined $40 and court costs.

Johnny Dean Belcher was convicted of driving while license revoked-impaired revocation. Belcher was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $20 fine and court costs.

Anna Bjorklund was convicted of speeding 50 mph in a 35 mph zone. Bjorklund was to pay court costs.

Marianne D. Carruth was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Carruth was fined $40.

Danny Markel Davis was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Davis was fined $40.

Susan Josephine Davis was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Davis was fined $40 and court costs.

Damien Dwight Dean was convicted of speeding 106 mph in a 65 mph zone. Dean was sentenced to 20 days in jail.

Roland F. Fehrmann was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Fehrmann was fined $40 and court costs.

David Ray Green was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Green was fined $40 and court costs.

Hiram Sawyer Jackson was convicted of probation violation. Jackson was sentenced to 31 days in jail with credit.

Krystal Shari Johnson was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Johnson was fined $40.

Dana Bradley Lovelace was convicted of misdemeanor larceny. Lovelace was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, $1,000 in restitution and court costs.

Shelbi Leigh Moore was convicted of rear seat belt violation. Moore was fined $15.

Quentin Keith Mullins was convicted of injury to personal property. Mullins was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.

Paul Elbert Penfield was convicted of failure to notify DMV of address chance. Penfield was to pay court costs.

David Joseph Raposa was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Raposa was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Joshua Stephen Reed was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Reed was fined $50 and court costs.

Patsy Oneal White was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. White was fined $20 and court costs.
