Patricia Heffernan Hunter, 92, of Alpharetta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2018.

She was an avid ridge player, master gardener, golfer and painter with the Tryon Arts Guild. She was a devout member of the Catholic church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Hunter; and daughter, Patricia Ann Hunter.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Bill Barrett of Alpharetta; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Sarah Hunter of Huntington Beach, Califronia, and John and JoAnn Hunter of Allison Park, Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; sister, Denise H. Cullinan; and cousin, Charlene Touzil.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Patricia’s memory to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. A memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.  A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. at Polk Memorial Gardens in Tryon, North Carolina.
