Hazel Bradley Huntsinger

Hazel Bradley Huntsinger, 93, of Mill Spring, North Carolina, passed away Monday evening, March 5, 2018, at the Smith Phayer Hospice House, Landrum, South Carolina.

Born August 17, 1924 in Polk County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late C. Reagan Bradley and Charity Williams Bradley, and wife of Henry S. Huntsinger for 66 years, who passed away in December of 2011.

Mrs. Huntsinger worked many years at Mill Spring School and was a homemaker. She was a long-time member of Mill Spring First Baptist Church.

Surviving are one son, Mike Huntsinger (Jewel) of Mill Spring; one sister, Shirley Grover of Columbia, South Carolina; one niece, Cheryl Weathers (Sam) of Lexington, South Carolina; one great-nephew, Cory Weathers (Michelle); one great-niece, Sommer Weathers; two grandchildren, Alisha Huntsinger and Shelly Upton (Danny); one great-granddaughter, Emma Huntsinger; one great-grandson, Wyatt Upton; two step-great-grandchildren, Chloe and Ivey Upton; one great-great-nephew, Barrette Weathers.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2018, in Mill Spring First Baptist Church, Mill Spring, with the Rev. David Bame and the Rev. Dean Elliott officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the McFarland Funeral Chapel.
