Sunny View Elementary fifth graders in Kellie Bradley’s class have been studying force and motion recently for several weeks. As part of a culminating activity, students were to design an entry for a speed race and distance race, incorporating all of the various elements studied.  The students used their STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) skills as they went through the “real world” process of designing, testing and redesigning.
