Robert Adam Harris, 37, of Columbus, North Carolina, died Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Born in Spartanburg, he was the son of Robert Ernest Harris and the late Nancy Smith Harris. 

Adam enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He was known for always lending a helping hand to those in need.

Adam loved his family, especially his wife Cindy. He was a member of Green Creek First Baptist Church.

Adam worked as a maintenance and engineering manager for Coveris, where he was employed for 15 years.

Surviving in addition to his father are his wife, Cynthia Bishop Harris. Also surviving are many cousins and friends, who were like brothers and sisters to Adam.

A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m., Thursday, March 1, 2018, in Green Creek First Baptist Church with Dr. Don McEntire, the Rev. Jim Hooper and Duane Price officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 3:45 p.m. prior to the service.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.
