During the month of January 2018, the Tryon Police Department answered 178 calls for service.  

There were three arrests, one citation, 27 security checks, 13 disturbance calls and 17 investigations.  

Officers responded to eight accidents with property damage, assisted other agencies 22 times and unlocked three vehicles.
