John Malloy, violinist; Katie Hamilton, cellist; and pianist Kymric Mahnke will perform on the Bach’s Lunch Wednesdays at noon Lenten Recital Series on Feb. 28, 2018, noon, at Holy Cross Episcopal Church, Tryon.

Beethoven’s Piano Trio Opus 70 No. 2 in E flat major will be performed by John, Katie and Kym. This piano trio was written when Beethoven was 38 years old, during the same period that Beethoven wrote the fourth and fifth piano concertos, the Op. 69 cello sonata, and the Op. 78 and 81a piano sonatas.

The Wednesdays at Noon recitals are free of charge and open to the public. Holy Cross Episcopal Church is located at 150 Melrose Ave., Tryon.
