McFarland Funeral Chapel & Crematory is proud to announce that Megan G. Smith has received her funeral service education degree from Fayetteville Tech Community College and is now licensed in North Carolina as a funeral director and embalmer.

Megan started her career at McFarland Funeral Chapel & Crematory in 2015 as office manager and now serves a dual role.

Megan is a native of Columbus and is the daughter of Burt and Anna Gibbs. Megan and her family attend Columbus Presbyterian Church. Prior to joining McFarland Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Megan worked as a nurse for 13 years. Megan and her husband have three boys.
