Join us at the Landrum Library on Wednesday, Oct. 4 from 3 – 4 p.m. for an in-depth discussion of the battles of Kings Mountain (Oct. 7, 1780) and Cowpens (Jan. 17, 1781) and their role in the War of American Independence. The lecture will consist of a brief walk-through of the American Revolution up until the point where these battles began, the battles themselves, and an overview of the war afterwards as a result. This program will be presented by a National Park ranger from Cowpens National Battlefield. All ages welcome.
