Don’t miss Thermal Belt Outreach Ministry’s third annual Empty Bowls Fundraiser on Sept. 30 from 4-7 p.m. at The Barn at scenic Parker-Binns Vineyard. This year’s event, sponsored by Artistry Above, HomeTrust Bank and Wilderness Cove Tubing and Campground features homemade soups provided by Huckleberry’s Restaurant, Larkin’s Carolina Grill, Lavender Bistro, McGourty’s Irish Pub, Southside Smokehouse & Grille and The Purple Onion. Fresh artisan bread will be offered by Standing Stone Breads. Iced tea, water and sweet treats will also be provided. Parker-Binns wines will be for sale, along with beer. Music will be provided by the fantastic Trophy Husbands, Cask Strength. A Silent Art Auction will feature beautiful pottery donated by talented regional artists.

Empty Bowls is a 25-year-old international grassroots movement to help end hunger. This Empty Bowls event will raise money to stock Outreach’s food pantry and raise awareness of the plight of local residents struggling with hunger.

To purchase tickets online, visit our website www.tboutreach.org or stop by Outreach (134 White Drive, Columbus) or Parker-Binns Tasting Room (7382 Hwy 108 East, Mill Spring). This is a ticketed event. All ticket holders will select a beautiful handmade pottery bowl to take home as a reminder of the empty bowls in Polk County and around the world.
