Excited loyal customers and treasure hunters alike lined the sidewalk in Columbus in anticipation of the re-opening of Second Chance Thrift Store on Tuesday, September 5. Twice annually, the store closes for changeover to move from one season to another. Second Chance Thrift Store depends on community donations, local commerce, and volunteers to help support Steps to HOPE, the domestic violence and sexual assault prevention and treatment center serving western North Carolina and upstate South Carolina.
