Clelia Day Cochran

Clelia Day Cochran passed away on September 5, 2017 at her residence.
Clelia was the daughter of the late L.L. Day and Josie Moore Day. She loved cooking for her family, playing cards, and bowling. Clelia loved her family and spending time with them. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clyde W. Cochran who passed away in 1980, a daughter Patricia Cochran, three brothers, and three sisters.
Surviving are a son, Kenneth W. Cochran; a daughter, Diane C. Samples (Mike); a sister, Martha Jane Cox; five grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 9, 2017 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel, Tryon, N.C.
Interment will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens, Columbus, N.C.
The family will receive friends from prior to the service Saturday from 1 – 1:45 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
