Scott Welborn, North Carolina Cooperative Extension horticulture agent and Polk County extension director, will be teaching a lawn care class from 10 a.m. to noon, Thursday, Sept. 21 at the NC Cooperative Extension Polk County Center located at 79 Carmel Lane in Columbus.The class will cover information about starting a new lawn and caring for an established lawn.
