In the space of a few hours, two large sinkholes have occurred in the Tryon area, purportedly caused by heavy rains of late. The first is in the area of 102 Dug Hill Rd. on Lake Lanier, and the second is at the IGA parking lot. Be aware and cautious as you navigate around these areas.
