Carson Street in Tryon was closed for a couple of hours on Sunday, July 2 because of a large tree that fell across it following heavy rains on Saturday, July 1. The road was reopened just before noon on Sunday after the Tryon Fire Department responded. (photo from the Town of Tryon)
