Kayser graduates from medical school

Dietrich Kayser, 25, the son of Mark and Talley Kayser of Tryon, will graduate from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston on May 19 with a degree in medicine. Dietrich, currently a first lieutenant in the Air Force Reserves, will be promoted to the rank of captain. After completing his five-year residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas he will begin his professional vocation as an orthopedic surgeon with the Air Force. Dietrich attended public high school in Boiling Springs, S.C. and graduated from Presbyterian College in Clinton, S.C. with a degree in biochemistry. When not pursuing his professional interests, Dietrich enjoys hunting and fishing. (photo submitted by Mark Kayser)
