A memorial gathering to celebrate the life of John G. Trippett will be held Sunday, April 23, at Sunnydale in Tryon, from 2 – 4 p.m. The gathering will mark the first anniversary of John’s passing from this life on April 22, 2016.

Those who touched John’s life are welcome to join his wife, Ginny Plume, in sharing stories and favorite memories. As he was fond of saying, “It’s so important to laugh.” John loved a good joke or story and was happy to share his thunderous laugh with others.

Though his time in Tryon was brief, he felt as though he had lived here much longer due to the outpouring of friendship, kindness and affection he received from the community. Thank you for making him feel so welcome.
