Those who are already Friends of the Library members or those who would like to join will have first choice at a special preview sale on Wednesday, April 19 from 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. The Friends of the Library welcome new members so they can expand the assistance they provide to Polk County Public Library. Please join the organization to celebrate and enhance reading and literacy in our community. You can support library programs, participate in book clubs, and help with book sales.

Books, DVDs, and CDs withdrawn from the library or donated by the community will be sold. The bag sale starts at 3:30 p.m. on Friday and continues all day Saturday. Starting at noon on Saturday, selected books will be given away for free.
