Doubles wins help East Henderson nip Polk, 5-4

East Henderson took two wins in doubles to clinch a 5-4 victory over Polk County in a non-conference tennis match Wednesday at Jackson Park in Hendersonville.

After the two teams split the six singles matches, the Eagles earned victories at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles to clinch the win.

Malik Miller, Rustin Muse and Seth Hardin won their singles matches, with Miller and Muse then teaming for the Wolverines’ lone win in doubles.

Polk County wraps up its regular season on Thursday, hosting Mountain Heritage in a Western Highlands Conference match.
