The tournament is a “shotgun start” style, where every team starts at the same time at their selected hole. This is a 27-hole tournament, meaning teams will play all 18 holes and the top six teams advance to the final nine holes for the cash prize. The tournament is $50 for a two-person team. Winners receive cash prize of $300 for first place, $200 for second place, and $100 for third place.

To register your team, call 828-859-5784 or email harmonfield@windstream.net. Teams may also register at the day of the event. Registration includes two complimentary beers with photo ID. All proceeds go back to Harmon Field, so please come out and support your favorite field!

“This is a great way to kick off the new course at Harmon Field,” says town manager, Zach Ollis. “The object of the game is to go from beginning to end in the fewest number of throws of the disc. It’s played in about 40 countries around the world so we’re very excited to have one in Tryon.”
