Envision what unity means to you April 11

Published 3:30 pm Thursday, April 6, 2017

The Friendship Council and the Tryon Fine Arts center are partnering to present a creative session of the UNITY Art Project. The Friendship Council will abbreviate its usual monthly meeting on that date, meeting only from 6-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 11,  in order to include the art program.

Friendship council members and anyone else in the community who would like to join in will be welcome to create a collage (one per individual or family group) depicting their idea of unity. Art materials will be furnished, though participants are encouraged to bring items like magazine cutouts, photos, etc. that they would like to include in their work. No previous art experience is needed.

The session will be guided by local artist Pat Ferullo. There is no charge for this program.  Participation is limited to 25. Reserve space by emailing dtatnall@yahoo.com or calling Donna at 828-859-7099.
