Landrum’s Foothills Quilt Trail launches new website

A newly designed website for the Foothills Quilt Trail is now online.

The new site includes a calendar of events in the City of Landrum, quilt pictures and stories about each of the 38 blocks on the trail, and a listing of all the blocks by street locations.

Various buildings around Landrum display quilt-inspired artwork as part of the quilt trail.  The trail represents a far-reaching initiative by the city which promotes history, the arts and tourism.

A team from the Landrum Quilters works with the city to develop, expand and publicize the quilt trail. Freddy Ruehl of Hub City Marketing created the new look with input from Ellen Henderson, who has worked with the quilt trail since its inception in 2012.  The City of Landrum provided funding.
