Adult prom planned for Polk, Landrum area residents

Have any of you ever wanted a second chance at having the best night of your lives? Do you regret not ever getting the chance to have a prom do-over? If you could go the prom as an adult with your now mate, or as a single person and just hang out with friends and neighbors in a prom-like atmosphere, with great music and dinner, would you?

Well now is your chance!

The Unity in the Community Organization will be hosting the area’s first ever adult prom. This event will be held on April 29 at the Tryon International Equestrian Center. Doors open at 7 p.m. and dinner will be served at 8 p.m. This event is formal attire and free to the public.

The organization is encouraging residents from ages 21 and up, to RSVP as soon as possible, as seating will be limited. You can reserve seating by calling Sharon Rogers 828-289-0495.

The adult prom is hosted by the Unity in the Community organization and funded by a grant from the Free Community Grant Fund and the Polk County Community Foundation.
