I am writing to say that I wish I had joined my friends who, on Saturday, March 11, were demonstrating at 10 North Trade Café. I should have been with them because I share their concerns about having a business in town that funnels money into a church that is currently being investigated by the State of North Carolina for child abuse. To those Tryonites and others who gathered to mock the demonstrators, I would say this … you are either against child abuse or you are willing to financially support it.
