Foothills Equestrian Nature Center to offer Full Moon hike

The Full Worm Moon will illuminate the sky Saturday, March 11.

A guided hike starts at the FENCE Center at 7 p.m. to enjoy the sunset, and then ventures into the woods for a moonlit hike led by AmeriCorps member Britney Tatters.

During the hike the history behind the March full moon’s  many names and meanings will be discussed.

All are encouraged to attend this free guided hike.

Please dress appropriate for the weather as it will be chilly.  Hot cocoa will be provided.

This event is made possible by the Kirby Endowment at the Polk County Community Foundation. FENCE is located at 3381 Hunting Country Road in Tryon.
