Coffee and conversations for adults at Polk County Library
Published 10:00 pm Monday, January 9, 2017
Steps to HOPE will be hosting ‘Coffee and Conversations’ at the Polk County Library on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. for six weeks beginning Jan. 17. All gatherings are open to adults involved in the lives of teens and preteens who wish to help guide them to adulthood.
Sam Etheredge, trained facilitator and youth mentor at Steps to HOPE, will lead the conversations and encourage open discussion among participants. No prior registration is required and folks are invited to attend as many or as few of the meetings as they wish.
Light refreshments and coffee will be served along with conversation centered on bringing teens and preteens into adulthood as painlessly as possible.
This event is made possible by a grant from the Polk County Community Foundation and partnerships between Polk County Public Library and Steps to HOPE.
