Martha Ruth Gibson Flynn, 82, of Tryon passed away on Dec. 7, 2016.  She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Myrtle Williams Gibson and wife of the late Frank Flynn.

She worked at A&P for many years and was a member of Pacolet Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son, Steve Flynn and wife Catherine of Mill Spring, and a daughter, Judy Foy and husband John of Tryon; a brother and sister in law, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Gibson of Mill Spring; four grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Polk Memorial Gardens.
