Polk County Superior Court results for Nov. 14

During Polk County Criminal Superior Court on Nov. 14, 2016, with Judge Mark E. Powell presiding, 56 cases were heard. Some cases were continued or dismissed.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Jeremy Wayne Banning was convicted of attempted larceny, assault a government official/employee, two counts of break or enter a motor vehicle and two counts of breaking and or entering. Banning was sentenced to 90 days in jail, 150 months supervised probation, $4,500 in restitution and court cost.

Brett Anthony Carson was convicted of two counts of carrying a concealed weapon. Carson was sentenced to 20 days in jail, one year supervised probation and court costs.
