Please join the Tryon Downtown Development Association in supporting our local businesses this holiday season. Downtown businesses are open until at least 7 p.m. on Fridays to accommodate local shoppers.
The shop local passports are back! Pick one up at Town Hall, or at many of the local retailers for specials and deals. Turn in your passport to participating businesses or at the Tryon Downtown Development Association (downstairs at Shops of Tryon, 112 N. Trade Street).
The Christmas Stroll is Friday, Dec. 2 from 5-8 p.m. There will be live music, Santa and tree lighting on St. Luke’s Plaza. Businesses throughout downtown are encouraged to provide wine, snacks and entertainment that evening.
Organizations and businesses not downtown are welcome to set up information. If you would like to participate in the Christmas Stroll, please contact Jamie at jamie@downtowntryon.org or 828-859-6484 and we will find an appropriate location.
The celebration of small businesses is Saturday, Nov. 26. Merchants please note there are bags, flyers, and decorations at the TDDA office at 112 N. Trade Street. If you would like any, please stop by and grab swag and passports. If you are planning any special sales or promotions in your business, please let us know, or tag the Tryon Downtown Development Association and Explore Tryon on Facebook posts. An event page has been created on Facebook; please feel free to post any promotions there as well.
