Patricia (Pat) Gray Stoudenmire

Patricia (Pat) Gray Stoudenmire joined her husband Hu Stoudenmire of over 56 years in that special place with our Lord on Nov. 7, 2016.

Pat was born May 19, 1927 in Toledo, Ohio to Leroy (Bob) Gray and Helen Gray. She is survived by her sister Barbara Russell of Grafton, Ohio; her twin daughters Judy Prather, and Joan Roberts and husband Steve; her grandchildren Stephen Alan Roberts II, Adrianna Gray Vollendorf and husband Hutch; and great grandchildren Drake and Preslie.

Pat was known by many in the community as she worked for Dr. John Preston, was a tax specialist, was active in the Tryon Little Theater, was one of the founders of the Lake Lanier Association, was a member of the South Carolina Tax Counsel, was involved in Steps to Hope, the Library on Wheels, and was a life time member of Lanier Library.

She was also member of the Holy Cross Episcopal Church and she was a member of the Ladies Evening Circle at Tryon United Methodist Church. She will join her husband Hu in the Columbarium at Arlington National Cemetery.
