Bubba responds to hypocritical accusations

To the editor:
I have just been re-reading some of the vicious letters that have been published in the Bulletin over the past few days and felt compelled to respond to these ridiculous charges that have been leveled toward us, the Basket of Deplorables, who support Donald Trump.
First I was called a “Bubba” with an AK 47. This is stupid. As a patriotic citizen of the US, I don’t own an AK 47. This weapon was built by a Communist regime. We Americans prefer an AR 15, which was made in America.
Then the letter writer wants me lay down my weapon and vote for a woman. This would not be a bad thing if the woman running was worth voting for. Sadly, this is far from the case. Hillary is probably one of the most corrupt persons that has ever been nominated by a political party.
Now the letter writer referred to earlier can call Mr. Trump many things, but he can offer no evidence to support his accusations, only his opinion. However, the evidence supporting my statement is voluminous. Let me refer you to the FBI director’s sworn testimony to Congress and a small sampling of the leaked e-mails from Hillary, her staff and our own liar and chief.
Another letter writer has written several letters to the editor and has accused me of being a Nazi. She also states in her last letter, and I quote, “Anyone who continues to support Trump, a mentally deranged demagogue, is uninformed, misinformed, naive or simply lacking moral and spiritual fiber. Trump and his followers are every bit as dangerous as Hitler and the Nazis in world history.”
I would like to explain some fact to her. I was stationed in Mainz, Germany in 1975 as a military police desk sergeant. For a year I had two former Nazis soldiers working as interpreters with me. They told me that the word Nazis meant National Socialist Workers Party. They also told me how Hitler came into power with all the things he promised the people of Germany. Things like gun control, free college education, free health care, jobs for all, tax the rich, etc., etc., etc. Now, who does this sound like and which party has run an admitted Socialist for president? Definitely not mine and Donald Trump’s party.
As for lacking moral and spiritual fiber, this is the most ridiculous claim yet. Just ask yourself which party voted 177 out of 182 members against a bill that would protect a baby that was alive after an abortion from being killed. Look up HR 3504 from Sept. 18, 2015, if in doubt.
Also, which president said he would veto this bill if it passed Congress? Which party during their convention booed at the inclusion of God’s name in their platform? (See YouTube video from Sept. 5, 2012.) Which party supports homosexual marriage and allowing naked men to go in shower rooms with little girls if they feel so inclined? With all this on your side, I don’t believe you have any right to lecture me about moral or spiritual fiber.
If you are tired of all the corruption in Washington, D.C., then for Heaven’s sake don’t send a corrupt, crooked politician back who is a large part of the problem. Send an outsider that will be immune from all the financial as well as political pressures that have been the root of so many of Washington’s troubles.
