Sunny View slates annual Fall Festival for Oct. 21

Sunny View Elementary will hold its annual Fall Festival on Friday, Oct. 21, beginning at 5 p.m.
The Fall Festival is a Sunny View tradition, dating back some 30 years, and has been a family event for the entire community. There will be food, games, music, and inflatables along with bingo featuring up to 100 prizes.
The evening’s activities will begin at 5 p.m. with a BBQ pork dinner, with chicken tenders, hush puppies, fries, cole slaw, baked beans, drinks and desserts. Cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children and seniors. There will also be hot dogs and related items available for sale outside throughout the evening.
In addition to the games and entertainment, a raffle will be held at 8 p.m. in the school cafeteria. Tickets are available from any Sunny View student or at the school up until the night of the Festival. Adult tickets are $1 each or six for $5, with prizes including $50 gift cards, a gas grill, Biltmore Estate passes and other great prizes.
Kids tickets are $.50 each or 12 for $5, with those prizes including a bicycle, wireless ‘Beats’ headphones, a computer tablet and more.
