Foothills Humane Society held their first annual golf tournament at Tryon Country Club on Oct. 6. The format of the game was Captain’s Choice. Golfers played nine holes and then enjoyed lunch in the historic Donald Ross room with board members of the Humane Society. Mountain Brook Vineyards provided complimentary wine.

Winners of the tournament were:

First place Gross: Terry Lamore, Rick Milweard, Ric Rondale, Alan Kearns, 32.

First place Net: John Gargiulo, Ken Shull, Joe Eskridge, Trabert Allen, 24.3.

Closest to the pin on #3 was Heidi Shull and Brandon Britton was closest to the pin on #8.
