► La Bouteille of Tryon under new ownership beginning this month

Shelly Block, former owner of La Bouteille in Tryon next to 10 North Trade Bakery, has sold the beer and wine boutique to Della Pullara after being at the Tryon location for the past seven years. Block said the sale has allowed her to focus more on the shop in Greer.

► The Book Shelf and The Nest to relocate

Owner Ashley Menetre of The Nest is moving to the Missildine’s building across from Morris the Horse, and was handed the key to her store by Scott Lane on Friday, Sept. 30. The Book Shelf is planning on relocating to the former Nest location two doors down from its current location in downtown Tryon.

► Harris-Nadeau Mortuary to hold open house Oct. 16

Harris-Nadeau Mortuary has opened in Chesnee, S.C. to serve the burial and cremation needs of the surrounding community. A public open house is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 16, 2-5 p.m. The 12,426-square-foot facility has been in development for the past 18 months. Harris-Nadeau Mortuary is just eight miles off of Interstate 85, exit 78/US 221. The event will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony with local, state, and regional dignitaries, as well as mortuary professionals. Catered refreshments will be served along with live music, and tours will be conducted for the public’s introduction to this new facility.
