The Town of Tryon is holding an informational meeting at the Roseland Community Center on Thursday, Sept. 29 from 4-6 p.m.
The public is invited to enjoy free hot dogs and ice cream and for the community to meet town employees and be given information about the town.
Fire trucks and police cars will be there as well for children to see.
Tryon Town Manager Zach Ollis said he wants to introduce the community to staff as well as give out information, including town forms residents may need and residents can go for certain issues, including making any complaints.
The idea for a community informational meeting arose during a recent Eastside Citizen Advisory Committee meeting.
