Are you or someone you know on Medicare? Do you have a limited monthly income? Do you pay more than $8 for your prescription drugs?
If you answered yes to these questions, you may qualify to receive help with paying for your prescription drugs.
Call Seniors’ Health Insurance Information Program, SHIIP, to find out. Receiving this help will not change your monthly Social Security benefits. This program is not available to Medicaid recipients.
Trained Medicare volunteers will be at Polk County Library, Wednesday, Oct. 5, 10 a.m. For information call Social Security Administration at 1-800-772-1213.
