Polk County Superior Court results for Aug. 24

In a Polk County Superior Court Administrative Session on Wednesday, Aug. 24, with Judge Mark E. Powell presiding, 80 cases were heard. Some cases were continued or dismissed.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Jason Lee Brady was convicted of probation violation. Brady’s probation was revoked.

Philip Brian Hicks was convicted of felony probation violation. Hicks was sentenced to 90 days in prison then terminate probation.

Paula Ruth Litton-McGhee was convicted of two counts of misdemeanor probation violation out of county. Litton-McGhee’s probation was terminated.

Melanie A. Raines was convicted of possession of methamphetamine. Raines was sentenced to one year supervised probation and court costs.

Brandon Leo Stone was convicted of felony probation violation. Stone’s probation was revoked.
