Funding from the Polk County Community Foundation allowed two Polk County High School juniors to gain experience this summer working on the school farm. Karli Wood and Autumn Owen served as interns at the farm on the Polk County High campus. The two students spent the summer caring and feeding animals, maintaining the apple trees, muscadine vineyard, blueberries and the grounds at the school farm. Both students are active in the Agricultural Education Program at Polk County High School. (Submitted by PolkStudents.com)
