Lillian E. Gates, 92, of Mill Spring passed away August 18, 2016 at White Oak Manor. She was the daughter of the late Aaron and Hazel Kirke Schlear and wife of the late Regis Gates.

She was a retired CNA, attended Christ the King Episcopal Church in Orlando, Fla., a member of Women of the Moose in Florida, member of the Order of the Eagles, Aerie # 3496 and lifetime member of Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW, Auxiliary #4287.

She was survived by a son, Buddy Evans of Mill Spring.
