Do the activities of your life bring you joy? Feed your soul? Or do you do what you think you should do rather than what you what to do? Let’s consider how we might nourish our spirit, embrace life, and glimpse a better way.
Rev. Joan Kahn-Schneider has been a Unitarian Universalist minister since 1980, serving congregations in Michigan, Ohio, Georgia and New York. She was also Director of Ministerial Education at the Unitarian Universalist Association.
In 1998 she became an intentional interim minister and served congregations in Concord, N.H., Hartford, Conn., Knoxville, Tenn. and Spartanburg, S.C.
Her undergraduate degree is in psychology. She has a Master of Divinity degree from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio and Master of Education in Organization and Management from Antioch New England Graduate School.

She is the mother of four and grandmother of eight, and is a member of the Hendersonville church.
