Landrum Library welcomes Dorothea Benton Frank

The Landrum Library filled up last week with fans wearing sunglasses to hear author Dorothea Benton Frank tell about her newest book, “All Summer Long.” Frank, a New York Times bestselling author, who grew up in Sullivan’s Island, S.C., signed books and spoke to the audience, as well as took a Facebook picture with the crowd to post in New York. Dorothea Benton Frank is the author of eight New York Times best selling novels – “Sullivan’s Island,” “Plantation,” “Isle of Palms,” “Shem Creek,” “Pawley’s Island,” “Full of Grace,” “The Land of Mango Sunsets” and “The Christmas Pearl.” She joined about 100 enthusiastic fans at Landrum Library June 1 for a discussion of her latest book, “All Summer Long,” and the writing process.
