Beneficial Foods, located at 98 Adawehi Lane in Columbus, recently joined the Carolina Foothills Chamber of Commerce, and board members and staff celebrated with a ribbon cutting. This organic grocery store has local produce, prepared foods to go, organic and gluten free foods, artisan chocolates, on-site bakery, and many regular grocery and drug store items. In attendance for the ribbon cutting were, left to right, Kim Adams of COSTCO; Tammy Martell of Bed & Barn Farm Inn; and from Beneficial Foods, Terri Morrin, community outreach, Rodney Booth, chef, Jackie Woods, owner, Carrie Beeson, buyer, Anna Luciene, manager; and Chamber director, Janet Sciacca. Go to the Chamber’s Facebook page to see many more photos of Beneficial Foods, and more information about store hours. (Submitted by Janet Sciacca)
