James Nicholas “Nick” Berardini, 72, of Mill Spring, N.C. passed away on May 26, 2016.  He was the son of the late George Nicholas and Ann Greene Berardini and husband of Barbara Brock Berardini.

He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and a retired truck driver.  He served in the US Air Force.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Berardini; two daughters, Nekki Osteen and husband Scott of Hendersonville, N.C. and Heidi Burnett and husband Anthony of Chesnee, S.C.; a son in law, Donnie McCraw of Mill Spring, N.C.; and seven grandchildren, Taylor McCraw, Ashely Osteen, Christopher Burnett, Cameron Burnett, Lana Wells, Ryan Osteen and Alessa Osteen.

The family will receive friends from 2 – 3 p.m. Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Emmanuel Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Brian Wilson. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Saluda Cemetery.
