A fun event for the whole family, FENCE’s annual Go Fly A Kite Day will be celebrated April 2.

Mark your calendars for Foothills Equestrian Nature Center’s annual Go Fly a Kite Day on April 2, at 1p.m. We are hoping for sunny skies and warm winds for this wonderful free family outing. FENCE will provide kites to the first 200 children who arrive and there will be drinks and snacks for all who attend the event. This year don’t forget to visit our face-painting table.

This long running event is always a family favorite in the community. Get outside and enjoy springtime at FENCE on this wonderful day. Hawk’s Ridge, behind the FENCE center, is the perfect spot to practice your kite flying skills. Foothills Equestrian Nature Center is a great place to explore before the kites have taken off or after they have landed. With about five miles of hiking trails, a nature pond with a boardwalk, and lots of great wildlife you could spend all day roaming the property. Mark your calendars and meet us at FENCE for this exciting event. We hope to see you there!
