During the month of January 2016, the Columbus Police Department answered 503 calls for service.

There were three felony arrests, 15 misdemeanor arrests, two driving while impaired charges, 30 speeding citations, 11 no operator’s licenses, five driving while license revoked, 19 drug charges, five uninsured motorists, 15 careless and reckless driving, and four open containers.

Officers completed 165 residence checks, 7,548 business checks, 311 church checks, 247 community patrols, assisted other agencies 19 times and completed 46 hours of training.
