Tryon Fire Department January report

During the month of January, the Tryon Fire Department answered 65 calls for service.

The department responded to 30 EMS calls, three accidents, 17 service calls, five fire alarms, two downed power lines, three trees down, one brush fire, two structure fires, one haz-mat call and one standby for another fire department.

The fire department used 300 gallons of water, gave mutual aid seven times, received mutual aid three times and had 103 man hours for the month.
